I have not posted on my blog for about a week now.  I had a little set back in my own identity theft case and was, actually still am, dealing with one creditor who is absolutely oblivious to the facts.  I do understand that they want to recover their money, but I do feel they really should investigate this matter.

Although, there are laws and regulations in regards to the Identity Theft, I guess some creditors do not care.  For those readers who are subscribed to my email list, I will be writing a little bit more regarding this issue and will elaborate on the details.

In the mean while, if you are an identity theft victim, please do not wait until it is too late.  Make sure to alert all 3 major credit reporting agencies, make sure to put a fraud alert on your reports, file a complaint with FTC and never assume you filed with the FBI (that is what I did).  Also, file a report with the police.  And never, ever, ever pay for the debts you do not owe!  Never settle just because you are afraid that it will be on your report.  Fight for what is yours and fight for what does not belong to you.  Cheers!!!  Stay tuned-I will be posting some good stuff a little later on.
