Lifelock's disclaimer covers them for paying out by stating they will "Attempt to renew every 90 days the fraud alerts." meaning if they attempt to renew and the credit company doesn't place the alert it's not Lifelocks fault. Which brings me to "Defect in Service."

To claim the "insurance" from Lifelock there must be a "defect in service" that caused the breech in protection.

Where they are really covered is lifelock request's a police report. When my purs was stolen and my ID taken I reported it to police. When my accounts started being hacked I reported that. Life lock told me, after reviewing the police report, a stolen purse didn't constitute a "defect in their service." Therfore I was stuck fixing the problem on my own.

Read their disclaimer and understand it before backing it!
