COVINA — A Covina man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a man’s identity in order to sell life insurance policies and collect commissions, the California Department of Insurance announced today.
James Alfred Morris, 66, was arrested Wednesday at his home after an investigation alleged he collected $8,457 in commission payments from an insurance company despite not having a valid insurance license, Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner said.
